KINGDOM PRINCIPLES TO PRACTICE - 2008

Jesus taught us about the Kingdom of God.   He spent His ministry life teaching about God's Kingdom and how to live it and how to bring it to earth.   The church is not the Kingdom but is His bride to establish it (Father, Your (Thy) Kingdom come, Your Will be done on earth as it is in heaven).   God wants His Will done daily on earth as it is done daily in the heavenly places.

His Kingdom isn't going to come on this earth because you simply tell God to do it by praying the Our Father.   Isn't it rather prideful and presumptuous of us to tell the Lord to bring in His Kingdom, when HE told us how to pray and seek His Face, taught us how to bring in His Kingdom and gave us His Holy Spirit to give us the Wisdom and Strength to do it?   That's like children becoming adults, simply repeating the words they were taught by their parents and expecting they will have a successful life.

To be a successful Kingdom Harvester, the following keys will help.
These are six beliefs that are held by highly successful/effective people today (pulled from a couple of books):

1. You are the expert on 'you know what's inside you'.

2. You already have the resources you need to succeed.

3. You can do/accomplish anything--break it into small steps...

4. If what you are doing isn't working, "do something else" do it differently.

5. There is no such thing as 'Failure'---only Feedback!
Successful people are not afraid to fail, as each step is perceived as a "stepping stone"--a part of the learning.

6. You are creating your future now--live in the Present and not the Past.

These are all sound Biblical principles simply factor in that you are made in God's image, His desire is for you, and He knit you in your mother's womb; He gave you dominion and authority expecting you to bring His Will to earth as it is in heaven; and, He sent His Holy Spirit to lead and to guide you in truth and to give you strategies to prosper, and the ability to get the wealth and resources you need to succeed!   We must believe Him in order to receive from Him, listen for His Voice by His Spirit daily and ACT--cooperate by Faith.   Quit ignoring the Person of the Holy Spirit.   Without Faith it is impossible to please God.

God is honored and glorified and His Kingdom comes as we respond to our God-given talents and His Call!   Stop burying your talents. Risk what people think of you and dream again. Trust Him!   That's what Pentecost is all about.   The Biblical/Hebrew date this year is June 8-10, the Feast of Shavuot which is the celebration of the spring harvest, thanking God for the seeds, the rains and the growth.   It was this Feast when the first Pentecost came.   The Holy Spirit descended as 'Fire' and 'Wind'.   We too must be baptized in the Holy Spirit!   We are called as Kingdom Harvesters!

Questions to Act on this Week:

1. Do you get still in your devotion/prayer time so that the Holy Spirit can talk to you or do you do all of the talking?   Even when your mind is going that's called intra-personal communication you're still talking.   Use a prayer journal to write what He speaks.

2. Do you have Faith to believe you hear His Voice and that He has plans for you this week?

3. What is His Will that you are to bring to earth from heaven this week?

NOTE:   When I speak of success, I am not indicating fortune, fame, or becoming a big name.   I do hope our names are known well in heaven's Kingdom (even hell's kingdom)-- because we loved the poor, the blind, the lame, the lost, the ugly, the broken--we offered His healing love of salvation and redemption--which includes healing, deliverance and victory by the power of the Holy Spirit.   We are letters to be read as Paul says.   What measure of the Jesus lives in us by His Holy Spirit?

Dictionary Definition of Success:   Is attainment of the proposed objective; that which meets with or accomplishes favorable results; achieve something desired, planned, or attempted! (Webster revised, unabridged, 1996).   Success is an event or something that accomplishes the intended purpose, result or outcome.   (WordNet, Princeton University, 2006).

Synonyms from the Thesaurus include:   efficacious (effective), fruitful, flourishing, achievement, breakthrough, fruition, prosperity, triumph, victory.

PRAYER:   May each of us truly come to know the Person of the Holy Spirit more deeply and more intimately that we may abound, be effective and be overflowing with the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit, flourishing with every good work and bringing many many souls to triumph in Jesus the Messiah and all of us living victorious lifestyles of Kingdom Principles-- in HIM by His Spirit...until He comes again.   May we all be Kingdom Harvesters for the Glory of God the Father, through His Precious Son Yeshua and by the power of the amazing Holy Spirit of God which dwells in us..... Holy Spirit of God which dwells in us.....
